The Santa Cruz City Municipal Code: INCLUSIONARY   REQUIREMENT

2) Monterey County adopted a Consolidated Affordable Housing Plan in April 1999. This document outlines four basic objectives: http://www.co.monterey.ca.us/grandjury/inclusho.htm Inclusionary Housing incorporates an amount equal to or greater than 15% of a new development of seven or more units, either in actual units being built or a contribution of funds to approximate an equivalent of 15% given to the County to build low-cost housing. 

3) Santa Monica, California http://pen.ci.santa-monica.ca.us/cityclerk/council/agendas/1998/s98021708-D.html On November 6, 1990, the voters of the City of Santa Monic aapproved Proposition R, adding Section 630 to the City Charter. Proposition R provides that the City Council, at all times, require that not less than 30% of all multifamily residential housing newly constructed in the City, on an annual basis, be permanently affordable to and occupied by low- and moderate-income households.
