Sisters...Big Brothers/Big Sisters is a non-profit
prevention-based agency which provides one-to-one companionship to children
(aged 7 to 14 years) from single-parent families. Under the supervision of the
professional staff, a young child is matched to a stable adult volunteer on
the basis of similar interests and the specific needs of the child. Our
screened and trained volunteers provide consistent friendship, guidance,
positive role modeling and love.

College Stroke Center...The Stroke Center is a unique college
setting where health care solutions have been evolving since before the
nation's health care problem was identified! For over twenty years, adults and
seniors with acquired disabilities have taken charge of their rehabilitation
by entering the community college system and participating in a program based
on an educational rather than a medical model.
