Community Restoration Project

Purpose

The Community Restoration Project (CRP) provides pathways back into the community for juvenile and adult offenders through employment, advocacy, mentorship and community strengthening. CRP also serves other at risk populations who experience multiple barriers to employment.

Services

CRP is uniquely positioned to deliver effective leadership, employment, and life changing services to incarcerated, adjudicated and at risk adults and youth in the area. CRP recognizes that sustained rehabilitation requires a variety of intervention strategies. With this in mind, CRP has developed a flexible and responsive continuum of employment, case management and leadership services that support youth and adults in their progression from clients of the probation system to confident individuals on a path to self-sufficiency.

  • Build competency and improve job readiness in individuals by working together on community restoration projects.
  • Support participants in community re-entry through mentorship, case management, and advocacy.
  • Strengthen communities and the individuals in them through advocacy, involvement, and leadership.

These services are offered through a variety of programs: Weekend Work Project, Evening Center Program, Job Training and Mentorship Program, WIA/SueƱos Collaborative, and Reforming Education & Advocating for Leadership (REAL), Avenues to Work First, Recidivism Reduction Through Research-Based Rehabilitation and Reentry (R5).
