There are many ways you can contribute to Gemma and make a difference in a woman’s life!

Where does my contribution go?

Gemma is a non-profit organization funded through federal, State and private foundation grants as well as individual donations from generous and committed donors like you. We count on support from the community to keep our program running. You can specify your donation for a particular program area, or for general support. Our dedicated staff appreciates your support in keeping the office and equipment running, and building a fund capacity to provide more services to more women in need.

Other specific contributions you make will go towards:

  • Healthy food
  • Bus passes for job searches and to attend educational classes
  • Medical expenses and medication
  • Undergarments
  • School supplies
  • Hygiene products
  • Educational materials and textbooks
  • Vocational school fees
  • Professional clothing for interviews
